Cyrus Hall Adams, III, a Chicago business executive, civic leader, and member of the Chicago Board of Education, was born 1909 Oct. 24, the son of Cyrus Hall Adams, Jr., (1881-1968) and Mary Shumway Adams (1882-1962). He grew up in Lake Forest, Ill., and attended The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa., and in 1931 received his A.B. degree from Princeton University.
